Sarah is a long time resident of Chester County, mother of two and a self proclaimed "blog-a-holic". After a long career in sales & finance management, Sarah "retired" from the business world to stay at home with her children and started blogging in 2007 after the birth of her second child as a way to stay connected to family and friends spread out throughout the United States. Merging her new life of "Mommyhood" with her sales expertise, in the summer of 2008, Sarah launched Chester County Moms (chestercountymoms.com), a regional "Mommy Blog" for women living in Chester County where moms can find information on local events, activities, products and fun places to go with their kiddos. In October 2008, Sarah and the Chesco Mommy Bloggers participated in the GM Ride & Drive to the Blog Her Reach Out Tour in Boston. In May of 2009, Sarah appeared alongside her friend and fellow Chesco Mommy Blogger, Shannon, on a local ABC segment on the influence of Mommy Bloggers. In June 2009, Sarah and Shannon, launched Montco Moms (montcomoms.com), a regional blog for moms in Montgomery County. Sarah is a Social Media Consultant, Cookie Magazine "Queen Bee" blogger, Regular contributor to The Savvy Grouse, member of The Philly Mommy Bloggers and the Organizer of The Chester County Mommy Bloggers. When not blogging, Sarah enjoys crafting, traveling, shopping, surfing the ‘net and spending time with her husband, children and their dog Duke. Sarah is an assistant organizer of The Chester County Playgroup, The Chester County Moms Night Out Group and The Greater Philadelphia Boston Terrier Club.Contributing Bloggers:

Diane worked as a therapist and clinical supervisor at a mental health agency in Philadelphia for 14 years before she decided to change everything in her life to become a stay at home mom to her son. She has been blogging about knitting, crafting, parenting, cooking and life at Knitting Zeal, is a contributing writer at Mama's Little Helper, and is the Philadelphia stay at home moms Examiner at Examiner.com. Stephanie Huston is the mom behind Raising A Family On A Budget. When she became a stay at home mom in 2007, Stephanie decided that her financial contribution to her family would be in the form of saving money on the products and services they needed. She started sharing the deals that she found with moms that she knew, and in June 2010, Raising A Family On A Budget was born. The main focus of the website is saving families money through couponing and shopping sales for the items we need and would buy anyway. In addition, there are often ideas shared for other frugal aspects of our lives (cooking, dining out, DIY, vacation, etc). The perfect companion to the website is the variety of frugal living classes that Stephanie teaches around NJ and eastern PA. Check out her monthly posts, Thrifty Thursdays, each month on Montgomery County Moms.

Nice to meet you ladies! Nice to meet you! I'm Shelley and I'm going to be going to Bloggy Boot Camp in Philly next week, I thought i would "try" and get through and meet everyone on their sites before I get there... We will see how that goes LOL... Look forward to it, have a great Labor Day!

I wasn't searching for local mommy blogs, per se, but here I am by accident and quite happy to connect with moms nearby. I graduated from North Penn High School and now live just beyond Harleysville. I'm a work at home momtrepreneur and am just launching what I hope to be my third successful business.
I'm like a Mr. Mom, actually. I work full-time 12 hour shifts so I get 2-3 days at home with our son while the wife works her 5 days in Delaware.
