Local parents can preview a new summer program offering this type of support at a Special Kids Camp Expo in Malvern on January 28th (free of charge). The program is customized for children of average or above average cognitive abilities who, despite many strengths, struggle in one or more academic areas and lack the critical tools and skills needed to succeed at school.
Now is the time parents start to think about the right summer program for their children and the camp expo offers parents an opportunity to come learn about day, residential, academic and therapeutic camps and programs that support youth who learn differently. The event is free of charge to the community. Specifics are below.
